First time at the park..my 3 dogs loved it
Great park. Lots of shade and water. Big and little dog side
Lovely place and people! The 4 star rating is because the small dog park needs boards around the entire lower fence... Dogs are slipping away...dangerous. Also I have found the area for other dogs ( not large or small) but not necessarily friendly to others locked.
This is a great place to visit - for dogs and humans!
Two, large fenced in areas. One for small dogs and the other for large. (If your small dog is an escape artist, keep a watchful eye for freshly made, "liberation holes," which periodically appear.)
While most human visitors try to be conscientious about cleaning up after their dogs, needless to say, not all are. However, there are always plastic bags and trash cans readily available to help you out.
There are a total of three taps for cool water and water bowls. (For canines only.) Every time I've gone to the park there have been tennis balls a-plenty and other toys as well. Lots of free parking available. Benches are scattered about and 1/2 of them are in the shade.
For the humans there us a portable toilet, but it is a bit if a walk. Since the park is a wide, open area - there is almost always a mild breeze. Nice in the warmer months. Not as nice in the cooler ones.
For those who like to walk in the dog park, there's lots of grassy area for critters and a brick path for their humans. Enjoy!
