  I had the privilege of working with Kathy as my clinical supervisor while I was working toward my psychotherapy independent licensure. Kathy's compassion, depth and breadth of clinical skill and sense of humor helped me gain confidence and competence. Her healing presence is a gift.

  I am not a patient of Kathy’s however , a family member was. My brother was at the beginnings of recovery from alcohol and all the demons that drinking helped hide were surfacing at an aggressive and frightening point which was threatening his sobriety. This is when he found Kathy who allowed him hours and hours of time and discussions to meet these demons head on. Break each one down to its core and work through them. She also taught him many skills to use when or if these demons or new ones decide to “come alive”. He has survived over 33 years plus with sobriety and in a major part was due to his sessions with Kathy . Without those sessions and skills he learned, I am sure the easiest thing for him to have done would be to go back to the habit he used to cover them up in the first place instead of facing them directly. Thank You Kathy for all you have done by listening to him and also to help guide my brother into a great husband ,father, friend to everyone that knows him and most important my ROCK and best friend that he is to this day!

  I pretty much grew up in Kathy's office, I met her when I was 28 and newly sober, a lost, lonely, abused, uneducated young man.
  She has this amazing set of skills, mixed with strong caring ideas that work. She really knows how to listen. I felt very safe in her care.
  The one thing I can say is that, in psychotherapy all roads lead to 1 thing, the discovery of one's self. I spent many years talking things out. I really trusted her.
  She always says it was "me" who did the work, but I couldn't have done it without her amazing touch. I have been sober, married, 3 amazing kids a small business for over 3 decades.

  After 60+years of beating myself up over my mistakes & failures, Kathy provided an opportunity for me to participate in her mindfulness meditation practice. With Kathy, I found a safe place to explore my feelings and thoughts without judgement. I found that I gained a clearer understanding of myself and others while working with Kathy. As I approach my 70th birthday, I do so with a deeper joy and gratitude in knowing that I have not only survived but now thrive in believing that I did the best I could. Kathy is an invaluable resource to those seeking a better life. Through my work with Kathy, I continue to focus on keeping my heart and brain in sync. As life ebbs and flows as it always does, having a professional like Kathy Hayes-Bloch to guide you is lifesaving!
