I took a car here that I was thinking of buying for an inspection. The chief mechanic, whose name I don't recall, was outstanding. The place is clean, which shows me that the guys that work there really take pride in their work. And in a little less than half an hour, they put the car on the rack, ran a number of tests, checked the engine fault computer, and gave me confidence I was getting a great deal on the car. They charged me a very fair price for the work. It's too bad that I live about 25 miles from this place, else I would enthusiastically give them all my auto repair business.
This is the kind of auto repair place you only see in the movies. But it's for real here...
These guys do excellent work and are exceedingly honest. Multiple times I have brought my cars to them expecting a big issue only to be told it was something fairly simple and inexpensive. I have always been happy with the work they do. Even though I have decent shops closer to where I live now, I make sure to travel the extra distance to bring my business to them.
