Please remember to pick up after your dogs on the trails. Bags available near parking lot. Trash cans available near parking.

(September 5, 2018, 11:37 pm)Great park to go for a day hike. Trails break off all over the place so I recommend you take a map or have some GPS app like AllTrails so don’t get lost. If you’re going when it’s hot, bug spray is a must. You might get lucky and bump into a deer like I did.

(August 31, 2018, 8:13 pm)Love this place for trail jogging or just a peaceful walk or sit by the babbling Mianus River. As others have mentioned in reviews, it is easy to get turned around and I experience very little or no cell service in the park = no gps. If you really enjoy exploring the more rugged nooks and crannies be sure to get there well before sundown...it gets very dark as the sun starts setting with the lush green umbrella of the woods. To make it more enjoyable, a better mapping system or possibly an app. That can work without cellular. Beautiful place and very well maintained. A BIG THANK YOU to the volunteers!

(July 22, 2018, 2:45 pm)Keep to the central big path if you are a first timer. Definitely would get lost if it is too foggy. Otherwise it's the best place to have some fun and hike. The stream is the best spot of the whole trail.
