  This is a music-lover's operation, for sure. In my search for a Mason & Hamlin piano, I called multiple dealers across the country to get their opinions relating to cost, quality, and in-home regulation and voicing. Some of these dealers didn't give me the time of day. Jonathan, on the other hand, spent a generous amount of time over the phone sharing his opinion of and experience with Mason & Hamlin pianos. Jonathan knew I would likely buy my piano from a local dealer (1500 miles away), but he nonetheless followed up with a phone call to get an update on my final purchase. The next time I visit New England, I'm going to pay a visit to Prelude and see this operation first hand.   The staff at prelude music is amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan when i purchased my first baby grand piano. He was kind to educate me on all the different brands like steinways, yamaha, baldwin, kawai, etc and had me play all of them before choosing. After my purchase he was even kind to hold the piano at the store for 2 months for me, before moving it to my new home. The piano was delivered on time and setup professionally (picture attached). I will definitely be buying from Prelude Music again highly recommend checking it out.

  I’ve worked with Jonathan Brittin for many years. I’m a voice teacher and he tunes and repairs all of my pianos and he is the best in the business.
  Recently I wanted to donate a piano to a local church and Jonathan found, refurbished and tuned that piano so it was like I was giving the church a brand new voice, all at an extremely reasonable price.
  Jonathan is a pleasure to deal with. He is honest and gives his all to make you happy. I heartily recommend that anyone looking to buy a piano buy it at Prelude Music Center.

  Bought a good quality used piano from Prelude for a fair price, delivery included. Prelude was very professional throughout the process. On my recommendation, my daughter also bought a piano from Prelude and is similarly pleased. Prelude now tunes both pianos every six months. Prelude gets my highest recommendation.
