I've dealt with extreme anxiety surrounding dentists/doctors my whole life, so when I learned I had to get my wisdom teeth removed, you can imagine how much I was freaking out. My regular dentist suggested I be sedated to make the process "less traumatizing." After consulting with 3 different top-rated surgeons in the area, it was clear Dr. Florio was the easy choice. He was so inviting and friendly and considerate. During my consultation, he even sat in the patient's chair instead of me to make me more comfortable. His staff is INCREDIBLE. Everyone is so nice and reassured me that I can and will successfully get through this. Sure enough, I did! It was a huge success. Not only did the whole process, including the recovery process, go way better than expected, I now have more confidence in myself going to dentists/surgeons because this was such a positive experience. No need to look elsewhere; Dr. Florio is your go-to oral surgeon!!
I took my 15 year old daughter for her wisdom teeth consult today. Nothing is ever simple about a 15 year old girl, and mine just happened to have 6 wisdom teeth. So in my head, it's just going to be this insanely rare ordeal and complicated. As soon. As Dr Florio walked through the door, he says that he had 6 wisdom teeth himself. I'm always worrying about everything..the littlest things but as soon as he said that, it comforted me. My daughter has never been really sick or had any surgeries..basically this is like the most major thing that's ever about to happen to her, so I'm just so nervous about the whole procedure. But sitting down with Dr. Florio and the way he explained everything, his mannerism about it, the way he spoke to my daughter like she was his own daughter, just shoved all my worries away. I know she is going to be in good hands. I was just beyond impressed with him. And not just him, all the ladies at the front desk were so warm and welcoming. You just know from the first impression with them, that you are in the right place. We met the assistants and they were so calm and comforting. My mind is not easy to relax, but they did it...as a collective group..every one of them were amazing. Thank you all so much for being...you.
From my first call to Dr. Florio's office, I knew I was working with a wonderful office. They were warm and friendly and very understanding. When I had to cancel my appointment they went out of they're way to reschedule sooner than later to get me feeling better. Dr. Florio is one of a kind! He makes you feel very comfortable and talks to you like an old friend. His office could not do enough for my comfort. This is really the best office and dentist I have encountered in a long time!
