St. Vincent's Behavioral health provided my son with excellent care. The facility is clean and bright. There is an indoor atrium that lets in sunlight. The rooms are clean and have individual bathrooms. There are two areas for patients to watch tv or visit with family. The patients are allowed access to walk freely around the hallways. The patients have 24/7 access to water via water fountain and cold water kept in day room. Snacks available in between meals. The food quality was very good. The nurses treated my son with respect and kindness. The doctor and social worked on our case kept me in the loop and communicated with our other care providers. There is an outside area for fresh air. My son was allowed the use of a guitar for rec therapy, which helped him relax. The front desk staff were delightful. Honestly, if you end up needing a place like this, it is the best option. Your loved one will be taken care of and not left in a hallway drugged and drooling. Guided group therapy with a purpose- meditation, goal setting. Social Workers on staff meet with patients. Great doctors who were not trying to push maximum allowed insurance days in acute. Med changes made sense.
There were very liberal visiting hours. Family members were welcome and provided space to visit and walk. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you have to choose between 1. St. Vincent's, 2. Silver Hill, and Norwalk CP3- Choose St. Vincent's or Silver Hill.

I've just being discharged from Saint Vincent's and I'm already missing this place , the people, the fun ,the food ,the quiet, the laughter.
What else can I say about this place.. the staff is Beyond wonderful they really care about every single one. Love you guys you are the best!!!????
