  Cynthia’s HypnoBirthing class has opened my eyes to what child birthing can really be. Childbirth doesn’t have to be an unpleasant process that we have all been taught to believe. You, as parents, have more control over this amazing experience than you realize. The techniques taught in this class are invaluable to not only childbirth but can be applied to the stresses in daily life. Besides the techniques, you learn about your rights and choices throughout pregnancy and birth. Instead of feeling nervous about giving birth I am feeling empowered and am excited for my birth experience. If you think it’s only the women that benefit from HypnoBirthing, you’re wrong. I witnessed the men, some new to the class and some second-time fathers who had gone through the class before, displaying passion throughout the classes and about the topics we discussed. At the start of this my husband and I were going to give birth in a hospital and he was just planning on sitting in the waiting room. Now we will be going to a birthing center and he can’t wait to be involved. Using my husband's words "the class was life-changing”.   Hypnobirthing of CT is absolutely a must for all expecting moms and couples (first time or not)! So much of my son’s wonderful birth experience was a direct result of Cythnia’s classes and her amazing support system, for both my husband and I. During a time when there is so much unknown especially as first time parents, we felt prepared, at ease and ready to approach any situation that arose. Thank you Cynthia! ???? HypnoBirthing of CT will always hold a special place in my heart.

  I must say I was blown away by Cynthia and the information she shared with us. I’m so glad we decided to participate in the Hypnobirthing class and the other wonderful classes we took with her and the extended team.   I had no idea what to expect when I signed up for Cynthia's hypnobirthing class, but it came highly recommended by my midwife, so my husband and I did not hesitate to sign up. We were far from disappointed and cannot imagine what our birthing experience would have been like without the vast knowledge and empowerment we gained from Cynthia's loving support and guidance! I can say with absolute confidence this class was a major contributor to our wonderful birthing experience. I did do my part in practicing the techniques and listening to the recordings daily (not a big time commitment at all), but wow did it pay off. I was able to bounce back mentally with ease after discovering my labor had not progressed as far as I thought it had upon arriving at the birth center. I was able to re-center and allow my experience to unfold as I had envisioned from that point forward. I could not believe it when my favorite part of labor and delivery turned out to be the part I always had feared the most...the pushing phase! I kid you not when I say I went so far within myself that 45 minutes of pushing felt like only 5 to 10 minutes, and what I felt during that time was not so much pain, but discomfort. My beautiful hypnobirthing experience set me up for an even more beautiful postpartum adventure. Thank you, Cynthia for all you do! Much love, Cate (New Haven)

  As a first time mom who was beyond nervous and worried for the entire childbirth process, I will be eternally grateful to my friend for recommending Cynthia's HypnoBirthing courses and to Cynthia for her immense support. My husband and I felt so empowered and prepared with knowledge by the time we finished our classes. We had a long labor in which we were well prepared for! Life After Birth picked me up when I couldn't pick myself up and provide the community support every mother should have access to. The Baby Care Basics, HypnoBirthing and Life After Birth were all life changing! Thank you Cynthia for the amazing work that you do. Your support and fountain of knowledge are life altering and I highly recommend HypnoBirthing to every expecting mom I meet.
