Candlewoof Dog Park

Great spot for both dogs and owners. Completely fenced in with a small dog area and large dog area. I am grateful for the shade trees and benches.

Amazing place to bring ur dog especially for the first time. I brought my Australian Sheppard puppy and he loved it. I never seen my dog so happy. It’s by far one of the best experiences I’ve had all year. People are super friendly. All fenced in. Theres doggy bags, dog bowls(but bring ur own water they didn’t have a fountain) they also have tennis balls and loads of other toys. I’m going to be coming back a lot more!

Our dogs love coming to the dog and making new friends. Everyone is very friendly that comes to the dog park.

Our two dogs enjoy going to the "large side" of the New Milford Candlewoof Dog very much. Well, that's not ompletely right... Domino, our 8-year old Black Labrador mixed with Aussie perhaps is a bit nervous and shy but Thor, our 7-month old Black Cur Hound puppy, is full of energy and a running powerhouse who loves playing with the other puppies and dog's who can keep up with him. He'll make himself quite comfortable by jumping up between two strangers sitting on one of the benches in the sunshine, watching over the park crowd from a good site to see from.Domino is also a crack up -- she drags her leash from the dog's bag where I am sitting towards the gate where we come in and exit the park, showing everyone present that she'd rather go home than stay there, even if cookies are involved, go figure!? ???????? Silly dogs, I love them so much!!

I do hope that the park will be kept clear of leaves this Fall and of snow in the winter so all of us don't become home bound and depressed about the bad, cold weather and our poor pups will be stir-crazy!

Great park layout with two separately fenced areas. Now the snow has melted you can see that not everyone cleans up after their dogs. Please help keep it clean. They have a take and plenty of bags for you too use! Fern loves it so far!☺
