  Hiked the Mine Hill Preserve as a beginner hiker, it was difficult but doable and fun. Saw an owl!

  A great place to hike. A bit steeper than I remembered it from our first visit. Wish there was an online trail map though.

  Great hike and a cool part of history. Very pretty and the bats add intrigue.

  A beautiful place to take a hike. Pet friendly.
  My kids loved it there. They were really into seeing the mine and the furnaces.

  This was a great place to visit on a beautiful day. We enjoyed walking on the trails around the preserve and also enjoyed seeing the remnants of the buildings from the past. My son enjoyed hunting for quartz rocks around the buildings and along the trails. We'll be back again sometime! Only problem is the road to the parking area is a little narrow, but if everyone drives carefully, it isn't a problem.
