My senior year in high school, I met a cute freshman girl who became a special friend like nothing I’d ever known. Although we lost touch after I graduated and went off to college, I thought about her a good bit over the next 29 years. I even tried getting in touch a couple times, wondering what it’d be like to marry someone as unique and special as her. Well, we finally did it! We reconnected in April and were married at Thousand Acre Farm last fall. The venue was perfect for our celebration. I couldn’t have imagined a more enjoyable, fun, special and memorable wedding. The preferred vendors all worked seamlessly with us and the folks at TAF. They were professional and respectful. The reviews describing the beauty of the venue are spot on, and the flexibility of having a beautiful indoor venue is ideal here. Bonus points for the Cocktail Hour room, fire place, outdoor games, Bridal Suite, dance floor, and Sunset Suite all in one location. Thank you Thousand Acre Farm staff for giving Beth and I a lifetime of memories!

I just had the pleasure of celebrating my wedding ceremony and reception as Thousand Acre Farms. The venue is absolutely STUNNING! This venue is in my opinion the best venue in the sate of DE!! Everyone that attended my wedding absolutely fell in love with Thousand Acre Farms. All of my vendors were absolutely awesome and were suggested by the venue which made planning easy! Lisa DiStefano was my wedding coordinator and works for the venue. She is FANTASTIC. Such a pleasure to work with and worked so hard to make sure my wedding was beautiful and everything was perfect. What an amazing venue! The location is very private and secluded with beautiful views all around, yet only 20 minutes from where I live. (Newark, De.) If your looking for a wedding or a party venue I highly suggest checking this place out, it was definitely a good time.

Such a wonderfully beautiful venue. The pictures might look amazing, but you HAVE to see this place in person! They even have small events brought to you by local charities and non-profits. I've been to a wedding and a festival so far at this venue and will definitely be coming back many more times.

Great experience, views, & people!!! Shannon was quick with responses & very helpful with any and all questions I had. The grounds & building give off a one of a kind cozy family owned vibe. The all inclusive packages had a lot to offer in comparison to rosewood which wanted to charge us for every little thing on top of their venue price being double. I would definitely suggest this place for events large and small!
