“Pleasantly surprised by this tree farm! The people working there were extremly personable and helpful. I'm so happy we found this place. Some folks were dressed in period costumes, there are blacksmiths actively working in a barn making beautiful Christmas decorations and we were offered hot cider and cookies. When we found our tree my husband went back to get a saw, but after a few minutes two boy scouts from a local troop came over and finished cutting it for us! They have wreaths and roping and lots of the 'extras' you always end up needing. We had our dog with us and when they saw we left him in the car they told us to bring him along! (They must be leashed and remember to bring clean up bags, in case.) We highly recommend McCarthy's!????”
