(December 19, 2018, 6:21 pm)I always enjoy coming here. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded for my comfort level. Still "goodwill outlet" is a store I visit whenever I'm near one... Richmond, Baltimore, Reading, and I think this location is one of my favorites.
(November 4, 2018, 10:02 am)So the outlets are a great place to zone out and MAYBE find some cool stuff. Unfortunately, like every good thing, they now triple sort the bins before putting them out. Goodwill maximizes their profit by putting the good stuff on their online shopping sites. That doesn’t mean you won’t find something good, just don’t expect to find your million dollar item every single time. If your in for the hunt without the expectation your likely to have a good time. If your searching for money items, they do exist but don’t think that you’re going to find them all the time. People do push and shove to get the items during the bin change, and they also help each other out too. If you drop your expectations and go in with an open mind your going to have a cool experience. Word to the wise, bring gloves and sanitizer.
(November 2, 2018, 4:05 pm)Shopping here is a sociological experience! It's definitely not for everyone. If you need clean, organized, uncrowded, hassle free shopping, you should stay away. But if you enjoy the "hunt," interaction with people from different cultures and backgrounds and real bargains, check out this place.
Goods are sold by weight. Consider wearing gloves or bring hand sanitizer to use after you rummage through the bins. What fun!
