Surprisingly interesting! More of a science museum than a history museum, which I wasn’t expecting. Once you get into the main grounds, the applied science exhibits are fascinating. They bring many physics and chemistry concepts to life.
What a great museum! No matter what you like, this is a great museum. Great 19th Century history. Wonderful hands-on science exhibits for kids. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Industrial technology. So much to see and so well presented. Love it!
The people here are truly passionate about the place and their knowledge of the history is truly impressive. The tour guide was very very friendly and she was very knowledgeable. We will be going back in the Fall to see it at another time of year. The history of this site is really interesting and shows what makes American the great country it has always been. I have to thank the DuPont family for being so generous and sharing their success and history with all of us. I am very grateful to the family and the wonderful staff that makes this a wonderful experience. Thank you.
Attended the Wednesday evening bike, hike and Brew. What a great idea! I was pleased to see how many people attended. There were lots of families and both hikers and bikers. We ordered a picnic dinner which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Beware biking the big hill! You will definitely feel a sense of accomplishment when you are done.
