  Nice 2 bedroom rental 4 houses from the beach. Within a short walk to restaurants/bars. Huge backyard which was awesome for the dog. Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

  We really enjoyed our stay at this cute two-bedroom apartment. It is just steps away from the beach and has a nice backyard. The owner was very friendly and helpful and lives upstairs. The apartment was clean, cute, and pleasant.
  Recommended for: Pet-friendly.

  We vacationed in this apartment for 2 years with our 1 child age 7, 2 dogs a Yellow Lab and a Pomeranian; 2009 & 2010 who all love the beach. The owners are great, friendly, helpful and it was nice to know when we need them they were right there. The house is 3 buildings from the beach and this unit is not blocked but those houses. “AWESOME”! Being so close to the beach was great and the view from the living room apartment is of the beach and ocean. The new renovations made in the last couple of years are very done with a tasteful eye. The only thing lacking was a deck but we loved going out into the back yard to use the grill provided, sit by the fire (I think they even provided the wood). The outside showers after long days at the beach are wonderful they even have hot and cold water. They provided everything we needed to cook and a hose to wash off the dogs after walks on the beach and to clean off our beach chairs. The apartment only has 1 wall unit air-conditioner in the living room but don’t let that scare you; it was powerful enough to do a good job in the bedrooms that also have ceiling fans. The bathroom is a bit snug and the mattresses I would have preferred to be more firm but still this is a comfortable place to stay for a week or more. The other 2 units they have in this house will give you other great options to enjoy. Like the first floor unit if you need larger spacious accommodations, central air-condition easy access to the back yard deck, only one step up to get to and one step down to the front street where you can park. Each unit has 1 parking place but you can get a weekly or daily permit and park right there out side your unit with one or two cars. The unit in the back has a deck overlooking the back yard to keep an eye on your kids from the unit. Another great thing to say about this place is it is located on Rodney where many locals own and come with their families. You will even see the custom home made lemon-aid stand just up the road and across the street operated but the owner’s grandchildren when they come to visit. The Tush’s make great host; I would definitely recommend you give this unit or their others a try. Enjoy!

  Great vacation stay!
  
  I stayed with a group of friends at this beautiful Dewey home over Memorial Day Weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and only steps from the beach. The house was clean, spacious and our hosts were very kind. The backyard is definitely the best part of the house. It's very spacious, has an awesome fire-pit, mosquito torches, benches, grills, and more. Great for a weekend barbecue. The bedrooms are small but clean and very nice. The kitchen is renovated.
  Most important, the house is only steps from restaurants and bars in Dewey. I'd go back in a second.
  Fun fact: Dell is the former mayor of Dewey Beach, DE!
