  Beautiful little Atlantic seaside resort town. Nice Shoppes and restaurants.

  Stopped by weather was nice. Brought the dog,and she loved walking on the sand.

  It is a very small beach that we love to visit with our Dairy Queen Food and ice cream and watch the waves com in. Or the Ferry going across. During off season it is perfect and quiet. During the season, crowed and no boardwalk and long waits at Dairy Queen.

  Lewes is a nice, clean beach with plenty of parking. Great for evening bonfires with friends too.

  Great beach for young kids in particular because the waves in the bay are small and the atmosphere on the beach is very family-friendly. Unlike most beach towns I've been to in Delaware or New Jersey, parking is made easy and is reasonably priced, and there is a clean and convenient public bathroom. Probably should get there early or later on a weekend as the lot can fill up at prime time.
