Very thorough, Dr. Mackler was not satisfied with just knowing he did his best to resolve my complicated issue. He cared enough to want to find out what the root cause of the bleeding was. The surgery went well. I just wouldn’t stop bleeding. Doc, told me to eat popsicles until 11 and we’d go back in (surgery). At 10 pm they came and got me. I said, “It’s only 10.” Doc was read, assisting staff were suited in street gear, ball caps and surgical gowns. When I awoke, Doc said he didn’t see anything. He was hoping the medicine he administered would stop the bleeding. When he didn’t know what else to do he said so and called in the liver specialist. When it was time for me to be released and the danger was over, Doc still was not satisfied. He made an appointment with another specialist for me to see at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The specialist at John Hopkins took me in the laboratory and had me view the biopsied sample of my liver that Dr. Mackler had sent. He showed me the anomaly in my liver and told me how to prevent any possible reoccurrence that caused the life threatening crisis that Dr. Mackler and staff rescued me that August, just before my 50th birthday. When I ignore the little reminders the office sent out for my five year follow-up appointment, Dr. Mackler had his office stop sending the cards. In year seven, I received a letter in the mail with my appointment date, a follow up call to make sure I received the instructions, and a call the day before the appointment to remind me of the appointment. Yes, I’m a grown woman. Yes, I know if I want to go to the doctor or not. Yes, you and I both know some of us grown folk don’t do what we should do when we should do it until somebody has the nerve to call us out. Thank you Dr. Mackler and staff for your caring, compassionate and professional service. Real committed and compassionate doctors and staff are not just on TV they’re right here on Middleford Rd in Seaford, DE.

Dr. Mackler and his staff are amazing! I have had the pleasure or working with the office staff and the his staff at the Seaford Endoscopy Center and all are awesome! They answer all your questions, so you leave with no additional stress!
