We are very new to boating and everyone at Short’s has been very helpful and willing to assist us with even the smallest of questions! We purchased a Bayliner Element and are pleased with our purchase. We had a great summer getting to know the Indian River Bay and look forward to many more! We don’t live in Delaware full time. In the fall, a storm was forecasted to hit southern Delaware. We contacted Short’s, and they pulled our boat from the water in a timely manner. Short’s service is reliable and gives us peace of mind! “I also find this laundromat to be the cleanest in the area!! Sunday, January 27th, 2019, approximately 8:15am...But unfortunately the one worker is NOT pleasant. There was feces in one of the machines and we made her aware of it. She walked away with an attitude and said "well, there is nothing I can do about that!" Shortly, thereafter, an older couple walks in with only a comforter. They ask for assistance. Seeing what they had in hand, mind you, only a small comforter, she turns away and states you can use any machine. Completely disregarding their needs. So I stepped up and helped them. Personally, this lady has to go. Longneck people are friendly, serviceable and just downright respectful!”

“This place has some good food. I've ordered their subs and cheese steaks. I've also had a dessert they have sometimes called black forest cheese dessert. The sub rolls have been very soft so far. I like that. The people seem friendly even when really busy. They're a bit higher in prices but it's honestly very worth it because the subs have always been very large. Put other sub sized to shame. Thumbs up!!”

“Flat tire hero’s!! This group had been fantastic. George and his team went above and beyond on a Sunday to fix my flat tire. Extenuating circumstances put my cars arrival time close to when his repair team was heading home; yet they stayed to finish the job! Being and out-of-towner also made this above and beyond customer service so much more amazing!! They were super professional, efficient and overall had empathy for my situation...which I’m sure is similar to anyone with a flat tire...needs to be fixed, ASAP! Highly recommend working with them if in need!”
