Instead of being indoctrinated with mystic mumbo jumbo, the students are given geometric concepts and physics to show you how to quickly destroy an opponent’s attack. I’ve been training for over a year now, and I can tell you that this is a complete fighting system. Everything you learn from the weapons can be applied to the empty hand techniques, which is great. The instructor is very knowledgeable in his craft and realizes that you won’t remember everything on your first try. This brings me to another point, this art is very intricate, so don’t get discouraged if you can’t grasp something right away. The class is very fun, and if you stay with it, you will develop a skill set that is not found in traditional martial arts.”

The location is on Capitol Trail and very easy to spot. Clean facility. The staff was super polite upon arrival. I had requested Andy based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed! Pressure was perfect and he checked in at appropriate times during my massage to make sure I was doing alright. I forgot to tell you the table shower was great too! Why go anywhere else?
