After debating whether or not to move (dreading the whole process), we decided to buy and sell this past fall and were working on a fairly tight timeline. We were looking for a realtor that could help us move quickly and assist us through the crazy DC area market. On the buying side, Justin was very helpful in working with us to hone in on what we were looking for. I highly recommend Justin and 4J Real Estate. I can readily admit we must have been a difficult client. We had a limited budget, specific wants and needs, and we house shopped for well over a year. Nevertheless, Justin was always patient, never stopped finding new places, and ultimately found us the perfect home. Justin was also transparent. I can't count the amount of times we walked into a place and he would quickly point out the things we should be concerned about. To me, this sent a message of looking out for our best interests opposed to making a commission.

Incredibly responsive and a depth of knowledge on the DC market make him a great choice for a first time homebuyer. When it came time to make an offer and close, the process was incredibly smooth despite an unheard of 10 day window between our offer and closing.

Before working with Justin, I met with several real estate agents who all claimed to have some sort of “tried and true” process. They would sit me down in a conference room and show me a bunch of slides about how they had the perfect equation for finding my first home quickly and encourage me to “commit” to their service. Justin, on the other hand, recognized my unique desires and helped me hone in to what I needed and was reasonable.

With Justin on my team, I closed at 40k less than the initial listing. He got me into a downtown condo that I never dreamed I would be able to find my way into (and that I could afford!).

I was always warned that once the deal was closed, everyone on my home buying team would stop answering my calls.

Not Justin.

Two days after I closed I found a leak in the unit and Justin got a plumber out within two hours and was able to get the charge covered. I cannot recommend his services enough to my family, friends, and you.
