  The place was clean, both interior and exterior. Coffee machine in the room with good coffee. A bag of snack and water on check-in. No free breakfast. Microwave in lobby. Washing machine in hallway. Just few miles from downtown, but it might take 20 to 30 minutes because of traffic. I would say above my expectation for the money.

  I was pleasantly surprised with the Ivy City Hotel. I was just looking for a cheap place to sleep while visiting DC and came across this place. The room was nice and the service was great. They have a great gated parking lot. We parked here and took an uber to wherever we needed.

  Every Uber driver that picked me up from the motel was impressed with the remodeling and new look, compared to the old reputation. I enjoyed my stay. Bathroom was large. Toiletries were nice. The iron and board were of a good quality. Relatively quiet. Street was busy, you can only turn right during rush hour. Price was decent. Everything worked. Staff was nice and accommodating. It was clean and I actually prefer hardwood floors. Small breakfast would be nice.

  I stayed at this Hotel for 7 days and the services were great. The room was very clean, fast Internet, very hospitable reception. The Manager Raj went on to make my stay exceptional assisting me with directions to places, calling cabs for me and many other personal favours which were not billed. l came as a guest and left as a friend. l will surely come back to IVY City Hotel.
