God, this school was the most amazing experience of my life
THIS WAS THE BEST SCHOOL EVER I WISH I NEVER HAD TO LEAVE DX
I am proud to have gone to this school, because it is a really wonderful place. I would never choose to go anywhere else.
Here at Washington YuYing they treat you like family and even if you don't know any, you'll soon be picking up some Mandarin.
My child attended K-5 (they start even younger now) and speaks tourist-passable Mandarin Chinese. i don't, so that's something. An administratively functional school in DC is rare, much less one that trains in 2 languages, much less an under-represented language. A good bet for a family willing to commit to supporting their kid on an unusual journey. Not a good bet for lazy or selfish parenting--it's hard work. Also not a good bet if you plan on leaving before fruition.
