HAIR BRAIDING BY MARY

Mary has been doing my hair for 8 years or more but she is the best of them all no other person as braid my hair she is very trustworthy her luv for hair is outstanding u would not be disappointed her salon is safe Place n feel with luv n respect but when u allow Mary to do your hair u will always come back she has a heart of gold so come n have a sit in Mary chair trust me u will not leave the same way u came in very professional honest n a safe place u can call home also Mary dose not braid tight at all so come on in

I had a wonderful experience with Mary! She did a beautiful job on my waist-length box braids. They were not too tight (I was able to lay on them to sleep that night) and look absolutely perfect. Not to mention that my edges have never been quite as laid as Mary was able to get them! She provided the hair extensions for the box braids as well (1B, 2). They are cash-only but there is an ATM next door to the shop (and also a Bank of America one block away). I have been getting tons of compliments and love my new look! I have found my new go-to braider in DC :)

Mary was very professional and gracious, due to unforeseen circumstances I was running late to our scheduled appointment. She still took me, thankfully and SLAYYED my hair. She went above and beyond to deliver the look I wanted. I am so happy with her execution. Clean shop. Fast, talented hands.

My only complaint was I was not quoted accurately over the phone. Hair washing is an additional $20.

I found Mary through Google and was impressed with her reviews and she did not disappoint! She was on time for our appointment, courteous, offered me water and gave me a choice of what to watch on Netflix while she did some beautiful Senegalese shoulder length twists for me. She was efficient but thorough AND gentle. I did not have a headache during, after or since leaving her salon. The price she charged was reasonable and exactly what she quoted me on the phone. I was the only customer in there for my appointment and the place was spotless - I felt very safe. I highly recommend her and will definitely come back!
