  Great Location! Great Amenities! Historic Building.
  We've lived in the Woodner for almost 2 years and we love it. No you're not going to get the new modern sleek look that you may find in newer building however the conveniences (for us) more than make up for the cosmetics; dry cleaner on-site, package receiving, underground garage parking, swimming pool, floating patio, 24 hour security concierge, bus stop at the front door and shuttle to the red line metro.
  Regarding property management and maintenance, I've never had a problem with the maintenance team or the leasing office staff. In fact, they have attended to our every request or concern in a timely, professional manner.
  Nearby restaurants and bars, grocery shopping all around! We walk to everything! Live music at the Pinch, Haydees; Coffee Houses all around with our fav being Coffy Coffee!
  But one thing I would say is the place could definitely used some renovating/updating... I would love to see it renovated but with a historic feel like updated moldings, common areas painted in warm, soft current colors instead of this bright elementary school blue, the elevators could use some new panels, but I'd still trade the amenities for the esthetics any day.

  I have lived at the Woodner for the past two years and have really loved it. We have a great two bedroom, two bath that overlooks Rock Creek Park with a patio perfect for a patio garden. Our dog loves playing with the other Woodner dogs in the dog area and it has been a great way to meet neighbors. The location is great - a short walk from the metro and conveniences of Columbia Heights as well as the great neighborhood feel of Mt. Pleasant.

  I highly, highly recommend the Woodner. My husband and I have been living there since January 2017 with our dog and now our infant. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the leasing office, residential services, security, etc. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly (often showing up just a few minutes after putting in a request) and they couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The convenience of having everything you could possibly need in the building is such a selling point especially now with a tiny baby. Laundry, dry cleaning, a well-stocked grocery store, pool, designated dog area, package room, and underground parking – everything we could possibly need under one roof! Although this is the biggest building we’ve ever lived in, there is such a community feeling and we have so many great neighbors throughout the building.
