I ordered BBY for an event today at the office- everything was excellent. The bagels and lox had people fighting over the leftovers. I can also recommend the parfaits, fruit salad, bar cookies, and rugelach. I don't like bagels personally, but I was very tempted by these because they looked like they were made by hand with love.
Overall a solid bagel — I got the Southwest Style which is egg and veggies baked in. A little dry as there was no sauce or avocado that came with it. They did mess up my order and the cashier didn’t seem to believe me so only after continually asking did he go to the back and confirm that indeed they made the wrong sandwich. They threw out the “bad one” (seemed wasteful — they should have just let me keep that one) and made me a new one. The manager (I think) came out to give it to me and apologized and offered me another item and I got the raspberry crumble tart, which was delicious. Overall, favorable experience and for the area, would go back but definitely not the best bagel in the city. (Would recommend Pearls in Mt Vernon Square).
The best hamantaschen anywhere. Impressive, both Vegan and regular. Their vegan Reuben is an amazing experience. Even if you've never had anything vegan before, try it. And, be careful, you may never eat an animal again :)
Great place to stop by after the zoo to grab a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches are around $6 and baked goods are around $4 each. Overall a decent place with vegan and gluten-free options. Nut-free and kosher if that’s also a concern for you.
They had cute zoo-themed cake pops here and if you want a cute panda pop then this is the place for you.
I tried their southwestern sandwich on an everything bagel and it was tasty and big enough that you’re full but not overly stuffed. I also tried their cookie bar and it was okay, though I wish I would’ve gone with their raspberry bar instead (maybe next time).
