(August 2, 2019, 11:36 am)So the nature center and planetarium--whatever. It has a drinking fountain, a restroom, some exhibits that will help you learn about the flora and fauna of the park if you're into that kind of thing.
The actual park is amazing. Miles and miles of very good trail, and plenty of places to feel like you're actually in the woods, without ever having to step outside of the city. Gorgeous picnic spaces where you can host a campfire picnic for free. If you live in DC and you like to hike or trail run, this is *not* to be missed. -

(November 10, 2018, 1:57 pm)A neat stop, particularly for parents with kids under the age of 10. It's a free museum and offers a free planetary show in their planetarium. The planetary show was slightly underwhelming for adults. There's a small natural history museum as well.
