SWEET AGAVE BAR & GRILL

What a fantastic restaurant in our neighborhood!!! The food is fresh and very delicious! As my wife is half Mexican, we have come to know quality in this genre. Even if this is more “Tex-Mex” than other places like Oyamel,, the food is really great. My favorites are the shrimp dishes, the Agave salad with whatever, and the enchiladas—the spinach are spectacular as are the poblano with mole negra, and the chicken and pork...all great and beautifully seasoned and prepared. Support this place!! They are a gift to our community!

Fajitas were great. Service is excellent. The interior is cute n cozy. Staff is very helpful. Had to get two orders of the queso it was so delicious. Definitely better than uncle julios. Would come back. Good date spot or takeout.

Love this neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Great food, really friendly servers. Happy they finally added outdoor seating.

We just ordered pickup with a few little adjustment/special requests. Everything was exactly as promised. The food was ready at the time promised. We simply pulled up and a gentleman (in mask & gloves) brought our bags to the car, put them in the back seat and thanked us with a smile we could see around the mask. When we got home we found everything to be exactly as we ordered it. The food was still hot enough to eat and made for an excellent meal for the whole family. I support Sweet Agave DC. Thank you for making our Mother’s Day meal easy and delicious!
