“In front of the Embassy of Ireland is one of the smallest memorials in Washington DC. It marks the spot where the vehicle driven by Orlando Letellier came to rest after the bomb which took his life and that of one of his passengers. This happened in the 1970s. At that time I was under the impression Washington DC was one of the safest cities in the world. That was due to having been taught in school about the forts built surrounding the city during the civil war. Afterwards I saw things differently.”

“The place I look forward to 5 days a week. Really nice covered saltwater pool, hot tub and sauna. Very clean and well kept. Always a familiar face and many classes to choose from. There is plenty of room for your own personal activities in-between classes if you just a space to stretch, dance or do yoga with a with a friend. The gym is well equipmed with all the weight you needed to get an all around work out and a good selection of cardio equipment that never has had a weight. Plenty of amazing trainers there if you are looking for some motivation and guidance.”
