(February 25, 2020, 5:48 am)Very good for cookouts, birthday celebration, walking or running the trail, or just a day in the park.....during the summer the entertainment is great, live band, performers, and it’s right in my backyard, only problem is parking but that can be worked out...walking there is better

(August 11, 2019, 12:21 am)The concerts in Fort Dupont Park are one of the highlights of the summer in DC. A family friendly atmosphere in a great green space. The musical acts are top flight whether local, national, or international. Kids can run around and play while the grown ups entrance the music. Treat yourself to this wonderful park in southeast Washington DC!

(July 2, 2019, 5:33 pm)Used to be the one of few places where visitors can catch a free summer night concerts. They had great line up too, Manhattan, zap band, funkdelics, bands that are oldies but still goodies you know? Now all the fun summer time concerts are all gone out to the suburbs because people are too tight to donate money. Though it's still a nice place to have a nice weekend summer time picnic. A lush green acre right in the middle of South East DC neighborhood.
