Amazing park right in the city. It has so much to offer no matter what season it is.
I absolutely love how the park area has shade and the splash pad has the pergolas for shade. They also have different events on a monthly basis.
It's an amazing place to relax and enjoy the scene with friendly people around jogging.. cycling and walking their pets..
Love the way they have regular monthly events here as races and marathons..
Pets are allowed if leashed.
Could watch the sunup till sunset non stop and wouldn't get fed up of the beautiful scenery.
Fun place if you like to watch the boats sail along the channel. You will see fishing along the marina, kayaking during warmer season.
From the shoreline observe District Wharf across the channel, as well as the famous Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the 12th Street Bridge. East Potomac has a golf course, tennis courts, and a miniature golf all within short walking distance. There's always activities such as walkers, runners, bikers, special events, Marine Corps Marathon completed part of its course through Ohio Dr. in East Potomac Park.
