  On the newly revived DC Wharf off Maine Ave, this is a step above, even for Hanks! Long known as the best oyster bar in the DC area, they have truly outdone themselves with this new location. Great food, fabulous views and terrific service.

  Back again. They keep moving up. Service was much better! Kat was a great server/waitress, awesome personality.
  
  They are now 4.5 on the way to be 5 Stars. The Oysters and drinks, excellent. Fun wine from Basque Country. The Wait and Service staff - excellent.
  
  This was fourth visit, and the food is no longer boring. The steak chimichurri was fab, the oysters great, and surprisingly the mussels awesome.
  
  But this place is noisy and a bit cold outside. They give you a nice blanket, but the cold seeps in.
  
  This place has excellent looks and bones, and will be a truly excellent restaurant.

  Oysters are uniquely perfect. They are supreme. Loved the food, best oysters I've ever tasted, so fresh and flavorful with excellent consistency. The fried chicken was the special, which they outdo themselves, following suit, with tender yet seasoned with kick that will make your eyes roll back in your head with delight. I ordered the monkfish, which was a simple yet complex achievement of wonderment. Loved it. I was expecting reliable and my shoes got knocked off with outrageous. Simply put outrageous food. And an accommodating selection for the familiar done with flair to sophisticated and adventurous eaters.

  The food was delicious! However the service was even better!! Our server Chris is a true professional! Compliment to his trainers. This is a professional restaurant with fantastic food! Nothing disappointed come the appetizer to the main course! This is truly the place to eat when you're at the wharf!!
  We will definitely be back!

  Come for the Oysters. They have a rotating menu of different Oysters from around the area, and treat them like you would wine tasting. The oysters have different tastes, all of which you can order a la cart for ones you like more. Service was good and staff very friendly. Great location right on the water. Recommend highly if you enjoy oysters
