Doctor Miller did my left hip a couple of years ago and appeared professional & skilled at the time. Went over and above expectations when I was having trouble getting care and that was appreciated. I've been considering changing my mediocre health plan but might not just to make sure he's in my network.
Dr. Miller performed my 87 yr old father in laws knee replacement surgery, this past January. He was thorough, answered all questions and very understanding and kind. Easy to understand and if u want ro know what you're in for, just go to utube and u can see the surgery being performed, or you may not want to see it!
Either way, the end result was Soooo much better than the pain my dad experienced prior to surgery and he's very happy.
As for Viera hospital Health First, excellent nurses and staff.
My ortho surgeries total 25. Of those a Kansas City surgeon did 24. When i injured my knee from a fall, I was sent to Dr. Scott Miller for eval. I met with his PA who said my knee was shot and yes i was in for my 25th surgery. I was worried as they didnt know me nor were they aware of all the special parts that were manufactured for me. Still, I am new to Florida and felt that I needed to trust this young surgeon. Wow am I glad I did. Dr. Scott and his PA cited research for best practices and meds both before and after surgery. Yes there was pain but nothing like the pain I had prior to surgery. Dr. Scott specializes in knee and hips i believe. For all that matters I gave his office and staff 5 stars.
