(January 26, 2020, 4:02 pm)I give this a 5 star rating because if how peaceful and beautiful the park is. There is a lot of parking and bathrooms. The lake view is very nice and relaxing. There is a 1.1 mil paved trail which is linked to the park with another nice trail. The park also has two active geocaches.

(December 22, 2019, 6:11 pm)Nice park. Not a lot of people around. We visited in December. There are nice spots to fish and a well maintained trail to walk on.
We went to this park because the ulumay wildlife sanctuary was very weird and didn't seem safe to walk around. -

(January 7, 2019, 7:04 pm)Absolutely beautiful! Pulled into the parking area 2 times before, but never got out and walked down the trail! WOW! The water is beautiful, the floating islands, the bridge, trees, birds, all just beautiful! A must see! Just went again today and saw 2 large otters! I'm so excited, can't wait until next time! Saw pink spoon bill birds, a woodpecker, a bald eagle, osprey, cardinals, egrets, crane and more! Love this place!
