(February 9, 2019, 2:18 pm)It's not a 5-star resort, but it's a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ask for a room on the rear-facing side of the hotel. You'll overlook the pool. The front balcony faces N University Drive, and overlooks the ballroom roof which is littered with cigarette butts. (Thanks smokers)
Our mattress was comfortable but the pillows were small and lumpy. There were plenty of quality absorbent towels. Housekeeping gets an A+. Apparently they did a remodel recently. The floor in the bathroom was either wood or wood laminate. I didn't care for it, but thats just me. Shower pressure was ok, but if you Like very hot showers, you may be disappointed.
The room had a nice flat screen TV that swivels. However, the 39 channels that are available frequently become pixelated. The time on the channel guide is 1 hour behind so you never really know what's on at any given time. Also included is a mini fridge, microwave, iron, & ironing board.
The blackout curtains did the job, but hung down so low that they covered the air conditioning vents. It was nice to have a balcony, but we couldn't really enjoy it without chairs.
There's a washer and dryer on each floor. It costs $2.75 (quarters only) to run the washer and another $2.75 for the dryer (99 minutes). Make sure you check the lint filter before you start the dryer!
The pool was awesome. It's not heated, but the temp was just right for an early morning swim in February. Dont bother packing towels they are provided poolside.
Now, about the continental breakfast:
Fruit (Bananas and oranges gone by 7:30), yogurt, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, cold cereal, toast, small bagels, small danish, and small muffins. The highlight however is the waffle maker.
Like other reviewers stated, there is an odd odor in the hallways. I believe it's cleaning chemicals. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't.
Front desk provided great customer service. Vernelle was a big help when I had difficulty printing out my boarding passes. (Did I mention they have a PC and printer in the lobby?) Evening manager was kind enough to provide plastic utencils when we ordered out with Door Dash and Boston Market and KFC dropped the ball.
All in all it was a good stay. ???? -

(November 21, 2018, 10:00 pm)Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is much larger than I expected and pretty easy to get to as it's right of the expressway. Also, reasonably close to the customers in the area.

(November 20, 2018, 7:57 pm)I stay here primarily because I visit the casino up the street at night. I usually have enough towels, the toilet paper and tissues are always stocked, and it's typically clean with the exception of gum being on the carpet for one visit and the sheets having a few strands of hair on another. The people at the front desk are very nice and always greet me when checking in. The rates are cheap which is even better. What confuses me is their no-smoking policy. While I never took up the habit, I don't understand smokers not being able to use the balcony. What kind of damage can be done if you step outside and light one up? Other than that, I don't like adjoining rooms, but you can easily request one that isn't connected depending on availability.
