My teenager was enrolled into the program and she made so much progress. We are delighted with the help and support from the program director and therapists as my kid has really been able to re build her confidence and self esteem. I would highly recommend this Company to any family who have children with teenager issues. This was truly a wonderful place that help not only my daughter but the entire family.

I can't say and express enough how Adolescent Wellness Academy has changed our lives, not just my daughter, who was desperately crying out for help but us all in such an impactful and positive way. The time, care and commitment they gave us has been immeasurable. I can go on and one but I know long reviews sometimes get looked over. I will say that if your loved ones in need of saving from peer pressure, sadness, suicidal thoughts and hopelessness, PLEASE reach out to them, it'll be one of the BEST decisions you'll ever make. My teenage daughter was out of control and this was my last hope before an inpatient treatment facility. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff and methods utilized to help my daughter. I have a different child now, one who is respectful, who listens, and is drug-free. She really liked the group therapy sessions and realized she wasn’t alone. The staff built trust with her and helped her find her way. Highly recommend!!

For a while my husband and I thought that our son’s problem was one that we could handle at home. Why not? We are his parents and when we speak then we expect our children to listen and take heed....right? We soon found out that we were dead WRONG on this thought. Our son seemingly became more and more distant from us to the point where the communication was either little to none or one of arguing and shouting out of our frustration to correct his behavior but without fruition. At one point we even considered sending him to a military-type/boarding school setting as it became more and more difficult for us to understand and handle. We called many places and became saddened when we were told that they do not treat individuals less than 18 years old!!!
Adolescent Wellness Academy is the only place we contacted that offers such a service in this area!! Almost immediately after leaving my information on the website, a pleasant Ms. Anny called and gave me introductory information on the academy and it’s services. On our initial on-site visit and each and every encounter thereafter, everyone has been very pleasant, inviting, courteous and “straightforward” with us. Frank (director), Mike (counselor), Vanessa and Kristen (therapists) and the psychologist all use an interdisciplinary approach to help our son to understand and work through his issues. Group sessions with his peers, individual sessions, group sessions with parents are all complementary to maximize the efficacy of the program!!
Today I compare my son at the beginning of this journey.....withdrawn, sad, depressed, seemingly hopeless.....now I literally see the life back in his eyes, he is smiling again, laughing, having heathy conversations/communications (even with his sister), spending more time with the rest of the family!!!!
We owe a debt of gratitude to the entire staff at the Adolescent Wellness Academy!! Without their collective expertise and unique program-approach our son would not be on this road to recovery.....a step in the right direction!!! It is without a doubt that we highly recommend Adolescent Wellness Academy for your teen/adolescent that may be dealing with life’s challenges.
