  BEAUTIFUL place! One of the most awesome natural places...so much history and turtles and egrets etc...total paradise.

  Sweet free park right by Flamingo Get, definitely worth checking out for 30 minutes to an hour.
  Loved the rocking chairs in the sun (great way to read or nap), and a good interpretive center.
  
  Their short walk through the forest was much denser and in many ways more beautiful than the flamingo gardens forest, plus I saw a green heron, purple gallinule, and a common gallinule all at once in their pond. Made my day!

  County park, so free. Not much in terms of local wildlife, although I saw a raccoon and turtles. Wonderful for taking a walk, lots of trees shading the are. Also great for plants and trees native to the area.

  Beautiful park facility. Peaceful, quiet, and refreshing. Fun historical information on one Florida's natural wetlands and native history. Great for families or groups. Has event room with modern amenities.
