Lifeskills South Florida

I arrived at Lifeskills south Florida on February 9th 2017. I flew here specifically to agree to Florida's marchman act and to get well. I had attended almost 30 different treatment centers, psych wards and detox facility's. I have experience with all kinds of treatment levels and care providers. I can tell you from experience that the treatment and mental health care field is full of scammers and money hungry entities. When a person is willing to pay large amount's of money to save a loved one. There is always going to be someone looking to take advantage of that person and there family. I can personally guarantee that Lifeskills is the only place out of all that i have been to, That has proved over a two year span to be completely trust worthy. on top of that. Its the only place that has staff that were capable of understanding me and my needs. Of course there were many times that Lifeskills had to, in my best interest, do things that i did not like. Of course there were times when i was unhappy. Change is not easy. I have been here 23 months. I am still not ready. But i am healthy stable and most of all happy. Lifeskills saved my life. You could not find a better facility or group of qualified professionals.

Dear Dr David, First of all, I want to say thank you for letting me begin a new chapter in my life. Lifeskills has helped me to be humble and open in learning who I am. I have learned new tools to strengthen my core soul. Most of the professional team has attributed to my success. They have listened to me, have been empathetic and supportive. The techs. have been professional, kind and sincerely care about my well being. I loved all the groups and art classes. I will miss my stay here. I have wonderful memories to cherish. Even Oliver has made my stay complete. I think the clients have given me amazing feedback on how to handle tough situations from a different standpoint. I felt safe knowing that my deep hurts, battles and dreams were confidential. Thank you for helping me get my life back!!!
