“First time here with my son who is looking for a new mental health program. Greeted warmly by members and pam who gave us a tour. Lots of art equipment and art work by members displayed. Really good artwork too. Classes offered in many art areas, poetry, dance, computers plus mental health support groups. No food available, but there are restaurants nearby in walking distance. No fees, rigid hours or rules, except being respectful of others who are doing their artwork. Drop in any time from 9 to 5, monday thru saturday. Transportation not provided. Fridge available for your snacks. Shady seating outside for smokers. Interesting concept combining art and mental health for your creative outlet insread of just straight therapy. We liked it. “I went into Strax today for my consultation and my overall experience was very pleasant. I chose to have my consultation with Dr. Dean because of the significant amount of research I’ve been doing, his name was mentioned the most for being amazing with his patients and work. He was very kind and explained to me how many liters of fat he’ll be able to remove. Shortly after, I was introduced to Tammy who was very friendly and such an outgoing individual. She’s very informative and goes through every bit of information with you that you need to know. She’s also had work done and tells you from her own experience what to expect.
