This place caught me by surprise as I had passed by for months. This is a beautiful serene park that is clean and well kept. This park is good for walking, picnics or if you just want to feel close to nature. It has a bridge through natural grasses and vegetation along with a path right next to a pond filled with ducks, fish, birds. I felt at one with nature at this park.
Nice and quite place to read, yoga, walk and family. Clean restrooms and historic things about the Indian good to share with the kids
Living in the area for 2 years this place served as a great mental getaway, whether your on a bike or just walking the trail. The best time for a scenic walk would be 30 minutes before or after 6pm.
It Was Very Relaxing To Watch 3 Kittens Chasing Behind A Fat Racoon... Quiet & Peaceful. I Had Time To Reflect & Think About Some Things...
Beautiful park in an area that might seem sketchy to some. Been there about a dozen times now, and never had an issue. You'll see some locals at times over on the benches smoking and such. But they don't bother nobody. Anyways... the park has a paved path which takes you on a bird filled scenic oasis like none you would have imagined in these "neck of the woods". Many different variety of birds. From woodpeckers, to bluejays, to wild parrots and cardinals. Great place for a walk or run.. bring binoculars for bird viewing.
