  This is a great little italian market...excellent fresh meats and sandwiches...the Roast beef is the best. It's not cheap...but you get what you pay for....if you in the area..it is worth a stop. Reminds me of old Italian market you'd find in a real city.
  
  What a moron the reviewer below is....1 star because you're closed. Well duh...did you bother to check to see what peoples hours are ...so sorry that in your entire life you have never seen a shop closed on Sunday...idiot...it is too bad that hard working people who treat customers well have to put up with nonsense.....aww....he won't be back.. guy has only left 2 review..both are to say how bad they are..I hate people like this...

  We just moved here and left a wonderful butcher so we were worried that we wouldn't find the same quality meats after we moved. Boy, were we wrong!! We visited Guido's and met Bob. We ordered our standard order of a full NY strip cut into 1& 1/2 inch steaks and a full tenderloin cut into a chateau and thick filets. The filets melted in our mouths and the strips were also so delicious!, flavorful and tender. The real test was the chateaubriand. We had a very special occasion and wanted our dinner to be perfect. Guido's met and exceeded that expectation! We will be lifelong customers of our new friends at Guido's:-)

  You wouldn't expect to find such a gem of a place in the dregs of this area of Pompano but trust me, if you've not been here already, it is a MUST for fresh meats and all else that they offer. They have package deals for $74 and $99 for families and we've yet to taste anything that is not good. The only thing is their all beef hot dogs are way too big and won't fit on normal buns. They are polite, helpful and KNOW their business of meats and other things that can be found in a butcher's shop plus some you wouldn't expect. They offer catering, are open early at 8:00 am during the week and as I just found out today, they are bringing in Amish fresh turkeys for Thanksgiving. They were priced out last year at $3.99/lb in case anyone would like to know. Also, their packaged bacon is from Indiana and is VERY tasty if pricey at $7.99. All in all, if you buy a lot of meats and poultry for your home, take my advice and make the trip to Guido's. You won't be sorry.

  Dominic is the man! Went in one afternoon and was greeted immediately. He listed nearly everything about the place and gave me samples I wanted. I ended up getting a delicious, MASSIVE roast beef sandwich. So good! This place is the real deal.
