Stevens Animal Hospital

This is going to be my last review of Stevens Animal Hospital (for a while)
Because I no longer have my beloved Jaguar/Baby "JJ". He passed away a little over a week ago after a long battle with several health issues.
I had him for almost 12 years. I got him from Dr. Chris after my last cat passed away, swearing that was my last one!!!! Once I saw him there was no turning back, I had to have him. I'm not sure exactly how long I have been going to Dr. Mark & Dr. Chris but I would say maybe 25 years?? I can honestly say, I gave up so many times on my little fur baby but thanks to Dr. Chris, never giving up he lived probably another 3 years. I just can't put into words what's in my heart for Dr. Chris....she is "One In A Million". Along with a wonderful staff that really cares about your pet. They really DO!!!! He may have hated to go there but they all loved him. I have my favorites there and you know who you are, so just know how grateful I was for all of you. For anyone out there thinking of a new vet to go to but too afraid to make a change.....This is your place!!!! My whole family and friends come here too. I just want end by saying what I've always said to Dr. Chris...."YER DA BEST" & What would I ever have done without "YOU"!!!

Dr. Mark and his assistant were helpful in answering our questions about our male pit, and didn't try to sell or pressure us into any unnecessary costs. Our pit interacted gently and even wagged his tail with both gentlemen in the room. We were pleased with our visit and feel at ease returning in the future.

Amazing team here. Highly recommend. They were able to take me in as a walk in. My baby got attacked. They ensured they took every precaution needed to make sure she stays healthy and comfortable.

This is hands down the best veterinary practice either my husband or I have taken any of our many pets to over the years! From the front office staff to the techs to the wonderful compassionate doctors we have seen, we have been so impressed and happy to find this practice when we recently moved here. We came from the Washington, DC metro area (having gone to vets in both Maryland & Virginia). We thought we had found good vets in the past but they don't compare to the excellent, caring, professional, and thorough attention your pets receive here. As just one example, our 12 yr old English Springer has always been plagued by itchy and periodically infected ears, despite our efforts at cleaning and visits to the prior vets. Dr. Chris immediately recommended putting in a slow release medication deep in her ears which for the first time in as long as I can remember has resulted in her ears staying clean, healthy, and no longer troublesome to her at all!! Unbelievable really -- and makes me so sorry our dog suffered so long with this condition! We have had many other good experiences at Stevens with (both) of our dogs and we'd like to emphasize the exceptional caring time and attention you and your pets will receive here. Although we ended up moving to a home about 20+ minutes away, it's definitely worth a few extra minutes to get the quality care for our pets!! All I can say is thank you to the entire staff & keep up the good work!
