Southwest Ranches Farmer's Market

Very small. We were greeted by an owner. Everything is organic, however, very small selection of everything. One type of sweet potatoes, couple of types of regular potatoes, one type of lettuce, couple types of apples, etc. You get the picture. They advertised to sell fresh caught fish, however, some people say they don't. And on the day of our visit fish wasn't there either. So, not sure if they ever have fresh fish there... Frozen meats are affordable, but cost a little more than in farmer's market in Hollywood. Overall atmosphere is very nice, friendly, parking is right at the door, no waiting time, not crowded (at 10am there were only 4 people). Maybe a good alternative if you are local and looking to buy quickly organic eggs, or some vegetables, or frozen meats.

Went in last weekend and its a great family friendly atmosphere. Owners are seem like salt of the earth people. Picked fresh tamarind from their tree. awesome. Fresh Organics.

We started to shop here when we weaned our baby off breast milk and started giving her raw goat's milk. Best decision ever. The organic options are fantastic. Sheila's warm and friendly attitude and that of the rest of the staff is very welcoming. Recently made the best beef stew of my entire life with the organic beef purchased here. Highly recommend shopping here!

ORGANIC CHARM!!! My husband and I always pass by this place but never go in. This time we did and I am so grateful we did!!!! My new place to shop for dairy ????, fruits ????, vegetables ???? and Gary’s famous key lime pie ????. Although it’s far from our house ???? we don’t care, quality products! Plenty of organic items that we all love and need in our homes. Just come in and I promise you’ll be a regular! Thank you Sheila for proving healthy sustainable food.

I visited for the first time a few days ago. I absolutely love supporting small businesses/local farmers!! Not only do we get the highest quality food for the buck, but it's helping the people around us in our community grow versus giving our dollar to big corps that don't have our health in mind.
The owner is very personal with her customers, you can tell she really cares and loves what she does. The place is very open, and it's about a good 20 paces across from a plant nursery. She helped me find my way around. This is one of the best local places to go if you need fresh fish (on weekends only), 100% grass-fed meat, dairy, pasture-raised eggs, etc.
Another huge bonus is that they carry offal (organs)!! I was so happy to pick up a beef liver that I know was raised humanely by people I can trust. I've always wanted to expand my diet and incorporate offal meats to better my health, and it's a relief that I don't have to pay big money to have organ meats shipped to me. Super convenient. :)
