“I called Robert (the owner aka Rob) in May 2018 to get an estimate to complete a major renovation of our home. The work I wanted completed was a complete change of the flooring on the first floor of our home, remodel of the power room on the same level, accented rock walls in two bathrooms and a complete master gut and remodel. After I called Rob answered and agreed to come over the next day to give me a quote. As some of the other reviewers have already said, I too knew I would hire him once he came over. Rob came over and measured the floor areas that were to be changed, listened to what I wanted and gave me a fair price. One of the things I liked about Robert was that he allowed me to buy all of my own major materials (i.e. vanities, fixtures, tiles, etc.). This is a big deal in a renovation like this because this is where most contractors pad that their costs and like to make money. Most of the quotes I received were absolutely outrageous, some at $50,000!!! Rob provides the materials to install what you have picked out such as grout, mud, etc. This was all included in the price. We hired Rob to start on the job in July 2018 as we had some summer travel starting and needed him to start later. Rob estimated the job would take from start to finish four weeks. Rob only asked for a very small deposit to reserve the date. On July 2, 2018, Rob and his son came by on time as promised and started the demolition. The guys before starting and during were very honest and told us our home would be covered in dust and it was! Thankfully based on Rob’s advice we moved all of the furniture out of our house into the garage for storage away from the construction. The single most important thing in my opinion for a contractor is actually showing up. Rob and his crew showed up every single day Monday-Friday to work at our home. They never disappeared, and always put in a full day’s work. If for whatever reason they would be late on a day (i.e. showed up later than their normal time) they called and let me know where they were and what they were doing, this was very rare this happened. Our home was completed in four weeks and three days. Rob did excellent work and stayed on budget within the quote. Not once did he ask me for money during the contract period and didn’t deserve what he received. My wife and I are extremely happy with our home and they work he did and I would recommend him to anyone I come across. Rob is very honest and once I can make some more money I will have him working on our guest bathroom upstairs! Trust me, go with Rob and you will not be disappointed.”
