I’ve had knee pain for about 3 years now, which was aggravated by certain activities and sitting in certain positions. It became just “a thing that is” and I’ve gotten used to avoiding those movements and just living with the knee pain. Peter worked with my knee and I can truly say that I have not had a semblance of that pain after his programming for me.
Also, Peter is so personable and encouraging, genuinely excited about your progress, which makes the whole process so much better than it could be.
I went to Dr. Peter in February 2020 for sharp knee pain in left knee. The pain was felt during a recent workout and had been lingering for several weeks. Peter was extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my inputs, answer my questions and never rushed the process which I appreciate. After putting me through some range of motion movements, Peter prescribed some therapeutic exercises to be done at home/gym 3x/week. Within a week I was feeling relief and within a 3-4 weeks was back to full movements. It really was an invaluable experience, helping me get back to full health. My only regret was not going to see Peter sooner. Thanks for all the great assistance and feedback, Peter!
Peter helped me tremendously with my overhead and ankle mobility. He provides great drills and techniques to practice. Prior to working with Peter I was unable to do any overhead squats. After just a few appointments I was able to overhead squat comfortably and I feel way better about my lifting in general. Go see Peter! It will drastically help your mobility and your confidence with lifts you might not like!
Peter provides high quality one-on-one guidance to help you meet your personal goals. After years of knee pain and thousands of dollars at other doctors and clinics, I was told to simple “never run, jump, squat, or lunge again.” I’m not even 35 and my job requires that I be able to do all those activities. Peter took the time to listen, assess, and educate me on how to re-introduce these movements and listen to my body. I am so grateful for his help and back to doing what I love. Worth every penny!
I went to see Dr. Peter because I had some nagging issues with my right shoulder, mainly with pushing movements, like pushups and burpees. I was SO impressed with how thorough the initial assessment was; literally step by step to isolate where I was having pain and a strength assessment. My treatment plan was easy to add to my weekly training, and so personalized to my needs and my goals for the future. By my second appointment the pain was gone, and now we are working on getting stronger. (And my homework is getting harder!) my coach at my gym has even noticed a difference!
I’ve seen other PTs before, however I feel like Dr. Peter’s goal is to get me to STOP coming and be healed. He’s the best!
