Absolutely gorgeous. Well maintained, fantastic variety of terrain, benches frequently along the path, and the lookout tower was really cool! The trails are the perfect length for deciding how much time you have to spend in the area, but there area lot of unmarked offshoots that we weren't sure would take us to the same place by a different way, and given that a girl got separated from her family and was lost while we were there (they found her), I'm guessing not all of them rejoin the main path. Overall one of my favorite spots in the area, I can't believe it's free! There's great history and sights all while getting a bit of exercise.
A great day hike, with an observation deck at the end of the trail, overlooking the salt marsh. Take your bug repellent. Dog friendly walking. Much of the trail is shady. Take your own water.
Excellent walk. Dog friendly. Great views. There is a giant Live Oak that is about 400 years old.
Its a great trail. I have walked it since I was 10. Green trail is the hardest and I would say black trail is the easiest.
Nicely maintained trail for all healthy ages. Awesome 4 miles with fun for hours. Bring a lunch and drink
