Duval Charter School at Westside

I used to go to this school and the staff and students are very polite and well-mannered. All the classes are very educational and fun

My daughter has been going here since it opened. She has had all great teachers BUT the school has been through so many principals and teachers its INSANE! This is the 3rd year that its been open and I feel like it may finally be getting on track. The school has had some issues with not being organized. My daughter went a very long time with no teacher, a constant fill in. And we weren't really told much of anything as parents.Luckily my daughter has always had straight A's but if I had a child struggling they would most likely get behind. If the school can get it together it has the potential to be a really fantastic school.

The school has been in a transition period since it opened its doors, however, the faculty and staff have gone above and beyond to welcome my son and our family to the school. They are always available to answer my questions. The principal they have in place now is firm and follows through on what she says she is going to do. She has made some great changes to the school. Our first year was rocky to say the least but we Love our teacher this year and have had a much better year already!
