Seaside Community Charter School

As a grandmother of a child in Seaside, I am so grateful that my granddaughter attends this school. The "whole child" education she receives here is the best of the best. Nobody goes by the wayside. Inclusiveness is part of the culture. The parents, teachers, staff and children are all on the same page - to provide the best environment for kids to learn and grow.

My entire family LOVES Seaside! I have the pleasure of teaching Art at Seaside and have 3 children who attend Seaside. Seaside offers a "whole-child" approach to teaching and allows each of my children to progress at their own pace. The teachers and staff are truly a family that genuinely enjoy teaching and love children. We also love that our children spend 1/2 the day outdoors; learning, doing art & science, as well as playing. Grateful for a place my children can learn and still be children.

Can't say enough good things about Seaside's research based Waldorf education style which has led to quickly becoming an A/B school (all following Florida standards). What is even more important is that this is a school where my daughter has been thriving, and they have nurtured her love of learning to the extent she never wants to miss out on school. I love the sense of community that the school offers, and I feel that my daughter is known by all that works there.

I really couldn't ask for a better educational option for my children. My kids have been raised in Waldorf environments, and we are so thankful to have a place where they can learn and grow with an educational philosophy that mirrors what our children need developmentally. It's more than gnomes, yoga, and handcrafts. This is a school committed to learning and loving our kids.

We love Seaside! The teachers have been kind and compassionate, and quick to address any concerns that have arisen during our time at the school. The school is based on Waldorf principles, while still being held to the same standards as traditional public schools. This public school offers a great resource to our community as an alternative to traditional public schools. I love that Seaside teachers and staff see the child as a whole person, teaching to the "head, heart and hands."
