I just spoke to Mrs Marisa M, and she is one of the most friendliest and most professional property managers I've ever encountered. I am active duty, moving from one military post to another so I have lived in military housing before. I found Mrs Marissa to be very helpful and insightful on many topics. I believe that she genuinely cares for the servicemembers she is helping to obtain military housing, and not just because it's her job. I only wish more military members would post and rate not only the homes but the friendly service we get from the office. Most of the issues with military housing can be resolved if we just communicate with the office and ask for their assistance.
First of all the ladies in the office are very sweet and helpful. So let’s start with the positives.
* close to everything on base
* friendly staff
* easy to work with on move in
* pretty homes
* easy to make maintenance requests
Now the negitive
* not enough one story ADA housing which is very surprising since this base is a hub for the EFMP program. Only 12 one story and 301 homes total. Not even 25% of the base personnel can live here
* no fenced in yards and trying to do one on your own is expensive and a pain with all the paperwork. It also raises your renters insurance and can cause problems with claims later on.
* small footprint. I can almost touch the counter and the stove in the kitchen
* water smells like sulfur
So far it’s ok. Once we find out if we can homestead or not we will decide if we want to move out in town or not.
They are really quick to resolve urgent issues. I consider the A.C. going out as an inconvenience and not so much an "urgent situation" my wife disagrees. They at first said that a technician would be out the next day before I told them it was the A.C. once they operator was aware that our A.C. was out she assured me someone would be here the same day. Sure enough within an hour a technician was here and solved the problem. The technician was very friendly and helpful, and honestly had some good sea stories haha.
