“At my greatest moment of patriotic desperation, Sea Shells came through! Allow me to illustrate. Scene: July 4, 2021. Situation: it is late evening and I am NOT dressed for the occasion, as my present garb is jeans and a polo. I see this store as my last great hope to change these circumstances, but, as I walk in, the store is closing and the staff very politely asks all new entries to depart. I look toward the cashier, my face affixed with a look of defeated disbelief. He, being a receptive and compassionate individual, walks over to me and asks how he can help. I inform him of my quandary, and he very kindly (& heroically, I might say) allows me a few moments to browse the store and find an outfit more befitting for the occasion. In my new and improved clothing, I then proceeded to have the most glorious July 4th evening one could ever hope for. “Came in due to a check engine light and a possible bad battery. James helped me out and he was awesome. Came out to my car and read the code for me and wrote it down. I asked him if I should get the battery replaced and he told me he thinks the engine light issue might be related to the battery problem and suggest I get that addressed first. He could have very easily said yes and tried to sell me a battery I might not need but instead he was honest and I will be coming back for all my future auto parts needs. Oh and it was all free! Dealership wants $125 just to read the codes. Thanks for the excellent service and honesty!”

“Went to Circle K while on vacation and they had a deal - any size polar pop was free with a slice of $1.99 pizza. Can't complain the pizza was good and the free soda was just a cherry on top. The woman who helped us out was very nice and even lifted up (while still wearing her gloves) my slice of pizza so that I could put the parmesan cheese on each slice. She even said that she enjoyed a slice a day herself! The bathroom was clean. NOTE; I think this is the circle k I visited but could be wrong the photo on google maps looks different than my photo but 1628 seems to be the address.”

It was such a great experience we decided to continue to take lessons. 5 years later we are still learning the moves for the dance floor. But wait you haven't heard the best parts yet. “I’ve had other storage units in the valley and they were fine. Just fine. However, I’ve been with Towne Storage on Charleston Boulevard for almost a year and I can’t say enough glowing things about it. It’s always clean. It’s secure. Every light works every day. Oh and, most importantly, Sharon, in the office, makes this place run like a well oiled machine. I’ve never had an issue that she couldn’t handle immediately. She always has a solution at the ready. I love having the ability to rent a U-Haul, when necessary, right there on site. I can’t imagine having a unit anywhere else now.”

Mike was the most friendly and helpful when setting up our boards for our stand up paddle board experience, the conditions weren't the best but we still had fun. Ty Miller, my salesman, did an excellent job of helping me select a boat, coordinating the purchase process and installation of add-ons by the parts department and even came in on his day off for final delivery. Ty went above and beyond when he FedEx'd overnight the hearing aid my Dad lost during one of our visits. “I am very pleased with your facility! The automatic, wide, sliding entrance doors are a plus! I went to the facility yesterday for the first time to unload some items, it was packed, so I decided to come back later and when I did there were only two cars in the lot and one seemed to be an unmarked police car, which was great because by the time I was loading my cart for the second time, myself and the unmarked car were the only ones there and it was early evening, so I felt very safe. I only have one suggestion, which does not change my rating at all, it would be nice if there was a cart with upright bars or separators so you could place your art in an upright position instead of laying it flat and stacking it.”

“My wife and I have been staying here for years. This place feels like home away from home. I am a cancer transplant patient who requires a lot of care with constant trips to Mayo Clinic. The staff are so welcoming and amazing. They truly go above and beyond from the front of the hotel, to the kitchen, to the cleaning staff, and management in all aspects they really show they care. The hotel is really clean and it is very obvious they care about keeping it that way. I have to be so very careful as a transplant patient and I can tell you I feel very safe at this hotel. Not to mention that every room here is oceanfront view with balcony. It is such a blessing to be able to have this soothing healing view with the pain I feel through treatments sometimes. Our family thanks everyone of them and are very grateful for the last couple of years and years to come as I fight through this cancer. Thank you for allowing our family to feel like home away from home... :)”
