“What a gem! I've lived in this area for 4 years and cannot believe I hadn't tried Padula's before tonight. I'm sure I'll catch some flack for the pineapple on the pizza, but it was SO GOOD! My husband and I will definitely be back. The fried zucchini was so amazing that I couldn't get a picture before it were all gone. The pizza crust was delicious as well and I could eat it by itself. “Great breakfast and lunch restaurant. Staff is super friendly. Food is meticulously prepared gourmet takes on vaguely southern American cuisine. The pricing is remarkably affordable for the quality of ingredients and preparation. I had a special with blueberry French toast, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was covered with a mildly sweet blueberry compote. The subtle flavor and fresh fruit flavors were almost European in restraint from being the typical overly sweet fruit topping for breakfast foods. Lemonade has a green-yellow tinge and is totally forgettable. I went back for brunch one week later. I had some fantastic pancakes with excellent crispy bacon as sides. My main dish was the farmer’s omelette with green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. Everything is cooked to order and made from scratch. They even indulged my request to have my order fried up in bacon grease. It takes some time, but the end result is approaching cafe perfection.”

“I visit the location in the mall frequently and I am never disappointed. They always make my sub exactly how I like it, and I never feel like they've held back on the toppings. I pretty much always get two meals out of one sub every time I go because they're so full. Love the service and love the food. Will continue to come here for a long time to come, it's 1000% worth it. Very mellow atmosphere where you can have a great conversation with the people you're dining with. The interior of the restaurant is very clean and modern. We were in Brooksville for the Blueberry Festival and read about this restaurant being popular and highly rated. From the pictures, I could see this was my type of place!! The place was super busy, and a very long wait flew by as we grabbed a brew at the Tap Room and sat on the patio chatting while reviewing the menu 😀 Everything looked great 👍. We also looked quickly in the gift shop as well. Our server was fantastic!! Recommended a couple of items not to pass on as well. The manager also came by to check on us several times! The food was priced really well, and the food knocked our socks off 😋 👌!! The catfish, the cheese grits, the GREENS, the burger 🍔, everything was hot and delicious. I can't wait to go back....no Festival needed. The Florida Cracker Tap Room and Restaurant is a DESTINATION not to be missed!!!”

Even the silverware was polished and shiny. My wife loved her meal and mine was also fantastic. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. I had the Legends’s Breakfast Bowl and my wife had the Thoughtful Chef Frittata. We loved every bite of it and didn’t leave a crumb. If I can give any criticism, it took about 20+ minutes to get our food after we placed our order, however, the quality and presentation made up for it. I wouldn’t even knock them for it. Well worth the wait.”

I usually go for #3 which is just spicy enough to enjoy it. They also have a spice tray they will bring you if you ask. They have canned sodas but I opted for water, which didn't taste bad. “Are you a fan of a good char on your Neapolitan style pizza? This is your place! Owner knows his stuff and you can tell he cares. Just the smell of the wood-fired oven alone is worth a visit. My teenage son says this was the best pepperoni pizza he ever had. When the dough is perfect, I’m more a fan of simple cheese or margherita, so that’s what I go for here. My toddler agrees with me, since he gobbled up his slice expeditiously. Wholeheartedly recommend!”

“This place didn't come up when we searched for "food" in Brooksville. The Cafe next door did. We went to there first but there were about 20 people in front of us. We were hungry and didn't want to wait. I did another search and Five South came up. From the outside, we couldn't tell It's a restaurant when we pulled into the Cafe mext door. Anyhow, I'm glad there was a long line in front of us at the Cafe. The food is amazing. Pulled pork BBQ nachos. Proper BBQ flavor on a bed of crunchy tacos. A great blend of sweet, tart, and salty. The meatball sandwich. The sauce is amazing! The sauce at a lot of places is thin and sugary. This is nice and thick, and you can taste the 🍅 and the spices. The soup to the day was chili. The perfect balance of meat and beans, and chili spice is apparent and not drown out by anything.”
